Today a 5 parents attended the first Gala Day steering group meeting. They collated the themes suggested and whittled them down to a choice of 3 and asked the children to vote.
Unless, another group has 'got in first', The High Mill theme for 2023 is 'School of Rock'. The children were very excited especially our wonderful P7 band!
So far slips returned show that 18 children are expected to walk in the procession, if you haven't returned the slip this can be sent in to school any time and the group will collect them. Thanks to parents who have volunteered to help with preparation or on the day including those whose work or child care commitments meant they were unable to attend the meeting. Watch this space for more meeting dates.
The group are keen to encourage as many families as possible to get involved - all crafty parents, grandparents and other family members welcome!
