It was wonderful to welcome so many families into school tonight and while we'd managed the summer parents' night in person this one felt like our school community was 'back with a bang' post COVID. There was a real buzz around our school - just how we like it!
Thank you for contributing to our graffiti walls, we know these tasks can make parents feel 'put on the spot' but it genuinely helps us understand how best we can support you. We'll use the feedback to plan parental workshops, leaflets etc. across the school year.
Thanks also for supporting our fundraising efforts, £230 was raised tonight between cards, raffles and the P7's Magic Square. We'll be selling raffle tickets (£1 per strip) tomorrow and will draw it in the afternoon. P7 will keep the Magic Square (£2 a square) going until the 100 squares are full then the £50 winner will be revealed.
Our biggest thanks of the night is to our wonderful children who make us proud every day, including the Captains and Vice Captains who did a marvellous job with fundraising, showing people around and gathering your views.
