Today we launched our new award 'Manner of the Month'.  It is important to recognise and celebrate children who use lovely manners and those who try hard with this.  Good manners help children to become respectful and responsible citizens within our community.    Throughout September the children have been working hard to 'be patient and not interrupt'.

All members of staff have the opportunity to nominate children.  Our first award winners are:
Louise MacDonald
Maya Bennie
Ava Cowan
Connor Craigie
Kayla Law
Joshua Reid
Faye Weir
Cohen Dobbin
Emma Crawford
Amy Ferguson
Hannah Melvin

Congratulations everyone!

In October our manner of the month is 'Saying excuse me'.

The focus will be - If you do not get someone’s attention right away or need to interrupt a conversation because of any emergency, saying ‘excuse me' is the polite way.  We can also say excuse me if we need someone to move to give us room to pass them.
