S1 Classes Information for P7 Parents
Today we reach another key milestone for our fabulous P7 young people (I'm sure they feel too grown up to be called 'children' now). The staff and I wish we were with them today to share their excitement as they find out their S1 classes.
This afternoon all primary schools in the Carluke Learning Community will be issuing S1 Classes to our P7 families. We will be sharing this information either via a text message to the mobile number we hold for your child's main contact or via email (where we have one on file). These formats enable us to keep your child's class confidential between you and them; giving you the choice of when to share these among friends.
In being transparent, please be patient with us, we are unable to bulk email/text due to the individual nature of the information. All parents will receive the information this afternoon and within a few minutes of one another. In anticipating the joy of instant messaging and social media, please don't panic if you hear someone has their child's class slightly before you do - it is coming!
Meanwhile, I have attached a letter from Mrs Sim (Depute Head Teacher at Carluke High) and a blank copy of a 'normal' CHS timetable. This does not show what timetabling may look like in the unique situation of August 2020.
