Come In And Help Out In The School!
At High Mill Primary we value the contribution parent helpers and other members of the school community can make to enhance the learning opportunities and experiences for our children, as well as the support they can give to enhancing the environment.  As we move forward from COVID restrictions and look ahead to outings and visits, we are mindful that some school activities could not take place without the support of our extended school community.

Who can come in to help?
We encourage and welcome parents, grandparents and carers as well as other members of our school families to volunteer at our school.

What can I do to help?
There are many ways in which you can offer support and help within the school.  This could be reading with a small group of children, supporting on school trips or helping in the library or garden.  Volunteers with a special skill, which they could share with the children in our Pupil Voice Groups are also most welcome.

I'm in! What do I do now?
Please complete the form (see link below).
To safeguard our pupils, helpers and volunteers are required to be a member of PVG Disclosure Scotland. This is to ensure the safety of all the children in our school.  A member of our school office team will then contact you to arrange completion of the PVG forms.
