Return to School
I hope that you and your family are well and although the last 5 months have been exceptionally challenging for everyone you will have been able to enjoy extra family time with life moving at a slower pace. For our key worker families life would have been busy and frantic, a huge thank you for all your hard work during this time.
We are looking forward to seeing all of our children next week, and although we will be following 2m social distancing the children will receive a warm welcome, a smile and a genuine interest in how they are feeling about returning to school. The focus for the first few weeks will be the wellbeing of our children, recognising all the hard work they have put in during lockdown and giving lots of time to chat to their friends, reconnect and enjoy being back at school. Staff will be assessing literacy and numeracy and identifying where children are in their learning journey.
Having received confirmation from Education Resources, attached are details of the managed/phased return of pupils.
