For session 2022-2023, we are keen to establish a School Fundraising Committee. This is a group of pupils, staff and parents who plan and organise our fundraising events and help agree the areas, activities and resources we should be spending our funds on.
The idea is the group would meet every few weeks at an agreed time this can be during the school day e.g. between 2pm-3pm to help avoid childcare issues etc.
This group is separate to a Parent Council. Regular fundraising is really important for a school and is what pays for things like Leavers events, Christmas parties, pantos, prize giving, small resources (essentially anything that we cannot access through our budget using the Council's approved suppliers).
If you have great fundraising ideas or are keen to get involved in the life of the school - then we need you!
Miss McDonald and Mrs Meechan invite interested parents to stop by for a coffee and a chat at 9:15am on Tuesday 21st June - there might even be a pastry with your name on it! This lets us talk initial ideas, look at possible dates and book any Lets for evening activities.
